Premium Feature: Lock Chat Dare 🔒 (For Paid Users)

  • Swipe left to send a “Lock Chat Dare.”

  • When this dare is sent, the chat locks for a set number of hours.

  • The recipient must complete the dare, and the original sender must “approve” it for the chat to be unlocked early.

  • Adds excitement, playfulness, and exclusivity : perfect for close friends, partners, or creators.

  • Introduces gamified social fun

  • Creates urgency and incentive to engage with dares.

  • Offers premium value in a feature users will want to unlock literally.

🔐 Locked Chat Dare (Premium)

  • Same layout, but with a Lock Icon + Countdown Timer

  • Banner Text: “Chat locked by [Sender] for 2 hours. Complete the dare to unlock.”

  • Action Required: Must complete and upload the dare to even access the chat.

  • Sender Approval: Unlocks only when the original sender reviews and approves the response.

Feels Like a Snap. Acts Like a Challenge.

Once the user taps “Accept & Live Record,” the interface transitions into a familiar Snapchat lens-style camera view, making it effortless to jump into the dare.

🎥 Lens Interface Highlights:

  • Live Camera View with Snapchat filters and effects.

  • Dare Prompt Displayed at the bottom, e.g.:
    “Dance to a Snoop Dogg song for 30 seconds.”

  • Optional Timer or Countdown to guide duration.

📤 Post-Dare Options (Same as Snapchat’s Send-To Screen):

  • Users complete the recording and hit Send To

  • Then select:

    • The original dare sender

    • Public Story (if allowed)

    • Group Chats or Friends

    • DareDear Channel (if integrated for creators)

After the dare response is submitted, the original sender gets notified and views the video within a dedicated review screen.

For All Dares (Standard & Locked):

  • Dare prompt shown at the top for context

  • React with Emojis: ❤️ Loved It, 👍 Thumbs Up, 👎 Try Again, etc.

Keeps things light, expressive, and Snap-native.

🔐 For Locked Chat Dares (Premium):

This is where it gets juicy—because now the power to unlock the chat lies with the sender.

  • PASS Button Appears:

    • “PASS” → Approves the response and instantly unlocks the chat

    • No Pass → Chat remains locked

  • Recipient Can Retry:

    • If not approved, the dare-doer can send additional attempt videos until it’s accepted

    • Builds anticipation and makes the challenge feel real and interactive
